Making something out of nothing is a challenge I always revel in. Every brief I receive, irrespective of budget, is an opportunity to do something new (or at least try doing so). These are examples of a few radio scripts where the brief may have appeared dry, but where I then attempted to infuse some life into it. Mastercard Prepaid; why not head on a 16,000-kilometre trip from Australia to Spain in 30 seconds (or less)? Radio is an undervalued hero, a soundscape of possibilities where the journey is only limited to your imagination (and of course the client).
