On-set images of 35 Letters, winner of Best Documentary at the Sydney International Film Festival, directed by Janine Hosking. The story centres on young Melbourne writer Angelique Flowers, in the year before her death, when she wrote thirty-five letters to her sister Michelle to celebrate Michelle’s thirty-fifth birthday. My images show Angelique (in a recreation played by actor Erica Baron) in her bedroom writing the letters, which in the film is expressed in voice over. This film is seen through the eyes of Angelique, Michelle and her brother Damian. 35 Letters is a film about conscience, family and breaking the law.
