The Odd Bunch
Every year approximately 25% of edible fresh produce is thrown away in Australia due to visual imperfection or cosmetic damage. As part of Woolworths’ goal to reduce food waste, The Odd Bunch was created, a motley group of misshapen, misconceived characters, each representing various fruit and vegetables. Their goal is to ask everyone to cast aside their expectations for what fresh produce should look like, and instead choose taste over waste.
The Odd Bunch campaign became an instant success throughout the country and continues to sell at a large rate.
